The Confidence Test is the starting point to increase your awareness of the critical factors that are currently blocking your own self confidence. If you can clearly identify what those causes are, you will be keen to make some positive changes, am I right?

  • Identify the situation/circumstance that makes you least confident
When do you feel least confident? Which situations and circumstances cause those feelings? Choose the one that is most important to you right now.
  • How did you feel when you last experienced that situation/circumstance?
I want you to be able to identify the specific emotions that you were feeling at the time, because this provides vital clues. So reflect back over the past 30 days and consider when you have been focusing your attention on just such a situation, and remember and Record The Key Emotions That You Felt At The Time.   • Identify what it is about this situation/circumstance that you really don't want to experience
We all tend to avoid experiences we don't want, especially ones that have historically produced negative feelings. If you can be honest with yourself and become clear on this issue you are going to be well prepared to adjust your thinking. Please select as many as are appropriate for you.
  • Let's look to the positive. What would you ideally experience and feel in your chosen situation if you were able to reconnect with your natural self confidence?

Great, you are able to choose what you do want, and it may seem a distant dream at present, but take my word for it, it is very achievable if you commit yourself to following this Empowerment Process.
  • When you find yourself in your chosen situation where are you focusing most of your attention
Up until now you may not have considered to what extent you are capable of controlling where you Focus Your Attention. (For more background information on Focus - CLICK HERE - Opens new window) Your attention can quite simply be focused on one of three outcomes:
  1. The presence/existence of what you don't want
  2. The absence of what you do want
  3. The presence/emergence of what you do want
Just note what your habits have been, and we will explore this enlightening topic later.
  • What do you really believe about yourself and your capabilities in your chosen situation
This element of the test is the most fundamental part of becoming clear about where your journey back to self confidence must begin.

Your Beliefs (For more background information on Belief - CLICK HERE - Opens new window) are the major cause of the barriers to self confidence. You are asked to ponder and then identify which of the key sabotaging beliefs might currently be active within you.

Achieving clarity on whether your belief system is serving you or hindering you will provide the foundation for many of the recommended actions that I will be proposing to you.
